Our nursery section turns three

Children in this area traditionally start school at six or seven, with no preparation, often speaking no English. Many never catch up. The nursery section was opened in 2022 to change that.

We began with 38 children and one room borrowed from Primary 2. We now have Baby Class, Middle Class and Top Class, and the children who move up to Primary 1 arrive knowing their letters, their numbers, and how to sit in a classroom.

Primary 1 teachers tell us they can see the difference within the first week.
